  • Pure Hurthle cell population
  • Prominent nucleolus
  • Pseudopsammoma bodies (Basophlic structures thought to be colloid, with concentric lamellae)
  • Shows either small cell dysplasia (smaller cells with high N/C ratio) or large cell dysplasia (large cells with at least 2x variability in nuclear size)
  • No lymphocytes
