RADIOLOGY: HEPATOBILIARY: Case# 121: CHOLANGIO CA. The patient is a 57-year-old white female. 1. Interval increase in size and number of hepatic metastases. Interval enlargement of mass in the porta hepatis is noted as described above. 2. Peripherally enhancing soft tissue nodules within the right midabdominal wall and adjacent to the ascending colon have not changed in size compared to a prior outside CT examination. Due to their stability, considerations include post-surgical change (do these CT findings correlate with laparotomy scars?) and seeding from slow-growing tumor implants. 3. No definitive evidence of intra-abdominal abscess is noted. The persistent pneumobilia noted within the dilated ducts of the left hepatic lobe may reflect recent biliary instrumentation, although an infectious cholangitis may present similarly.4. The patient is status post gastrojejunostomy.
