IPLab:Lab 11:Objectives

• Know the major classes of parasites.
• Be able to describe the basic mechanisms by which the major classes of parasites cause disease.
• Be familiar with the geographic distribution of the endemic areas for the major parasitic diseases.
• Be familiar with the major parasitic diseases that cause morbidity and mortality around the world and know the major clinical problems/sequelae of infections by these organisms.
