RADIOLOGY: HEPATOBILIARY: Case# 33500: LIVER MASS HYPERVASC. 31 year old female status post total abdominal hysterectomy for cervical cancer. 1. Status post hysterectomy and right oophorectomy with a 3 x 3.5 cm right lower quadrant abscess identified. 2. Three liver lesions are identified whose etiology is uncertain. Differential diagnosis includes hemangiomata, metastsis, adenomas, or less likely, focal nodular hyperplasiOf htese possibilities, hemangiomata are favored, though the appearance is atypical. Metastatic disease, though unlikely, cannot be excluded totally. Recommend clinical correlation and follow up. Radionuclide red blood cell (RBC) SPECT scan may be helpful.
