RADIOLOGY: KIDNEY: Case# 33036: SPONTANEOUS PERINEPHRIC HEMATOMA. This 59 YOF was undergoing carotid angioplasty by the Neurology service, after which she developed right flank pain as well as hemodynamic instability. 1. Active bleeding from the right kidney. Although an underlying tumor is not definitely seen, it cannot be excluded, and further evaluation is suggested as clinically indicated. 2. Small right groin hematoma with a small amount of fluid extending from the groin to the pelvis. 3. Vicarious excretion of contrast in the gallbladder. 4. Large hiatal hernia. 5. Mild cardiomegaly.
