RADIOLOGY: KIDNEY: Case# 33000: RENAL ABSCESSES, ?FUNGAL. 49-year-old white male with ALL S/P chemotherapy. The patient presents with temperature spikes. 1) Multiple low attenuation lesions in the spleen and both kidneys are suggestive of multiple microabscesses (fungal versus bacterial) from hematogenous spread. Other possibilities include leukemic infiltrates or lymphomatous deposits. 2) Bilateral pleural effusions and interstitial pulmonary nodules. A chest CT examination was also performed that will be reported separately.
