RADIOLOGY: VASCULAR: Case# 36: SMV THROMBOSIS. 51 year old white female with abdominal pain and fever. 1) Thrombosis of the SMV with thickened ischemic loops of small bowel on the left. 2) Bilateral pleural effusions with adjacent atelectasis. 3) Small amount of ascites. 4) S/P cholecystectomy.
