57 year old female with BOOP as per an open lung biopsy. She has a history of breast carcinoma status post mastectomy. She presented to the emergency room with hemoptysis. The specimen is a bronchial brushing.
- Squamous Cell Carcinoma
- May be associated with a paraneoplastic syndrome
- Hypercalcemia due to production of PTHrP
- ⊕: p63, CK5/6
- ⊖: TTF-1, neuroendocrine markers, CK7, CK20
