Objectives

The specific objectives of the SIBS Undergraduate Research Program are:

To give college undergraduates a hands-on educational experience in biomedical sciences
To promote awareness of the major basic and clinical research areas in the biomedical sciences
To give college undergraduates the opportunity to interact with basic science researchers and clinical scientists
To allow a student an insider's look at the medical and graduate programs of UAB
