MASTER COURSE CARDIOVASCULAR PATHOLOGY

The Master in Cardiovascular Pathology allows to deepen the knowledge in the field of cardiovascular anatomy and pathology, ranging from acquired to congenital heart diseases,  from physiopathology to basic and experimental cardiology. Training to learn the most
important techniques which are utilized in cardiovascular pathology (autopsy protocol and  techniques, gross examination of heart specimens, histology, immunohistochemistry, light microscopy, histomorphometry, serial sections study of conduction system, transmission and scanning electron microscopy, molecular pathology). Anatomo-clinical correlations and the epicrisis to correctly interpret the surgical pathology and autopsy cases thanks to the close relation with the clinician. Learning of the research methods is crucial to lead
a research project whether clinical or basic.

On-line pre-enrolment will be available by mid August 2009 at
http://www.cca.unipd.it/unienter/ and deadline will be by first November 2009.
In the event of admission, for foreign people we require the minimum of non-stop 3 months (March-June),  whereas for the local we require 2 days a week.

RECOMMENDED TO:

Physicians with Post-graduate in Pathological Anatomy, Forensic Medicine, Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery

DURATION: 12 months
THE MASTER STARTS: January 2010
THE FEE IS: Euro 2.100,00 (approximately)
