General Research
Interests:
Leukocyte adhesion, better understanding of T-cell
integrin avidity and adhesion on inflamed epithelium.
|
| |
My research is focused on the physical interactions between lymphocytes and
their environment on adhesion, the key step in
inflammation. |
|
| Using biophysical techniques, such as
single particle tracking, I use the latest technology to elucidate the role of
alpha 4 integrin, beta 2 integrin, and selectin ligand movement on the
cytoskeleton. My research, therefore, deals with any disease requiring an
inflammatory response, which can range from multiple sclerosis to colitis.
