I finished medical school from Peking University Health Science Center in 2001. After one year of residency, I enrolled in the department of Molecular and Cellular Pathology to pursue Ph.D. degree.

   Hometown:

Beijing, P.R. China

Undergraduate/Masters Institution:

Peking University
Health Science Center

General Research Interests:

Signaling Transduction

Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) signaling plays an important role in tumor genesis and tumor behavior. Growth Hormone Receptor (GHR), on the other hand, is critical in tissue growth and differentiation.

I am exploring the crosstalk between the EGFR and GHR signaling pathways, a situation more like what is seen in vivo.

I am trying to find 1) the specific site(s) on EGFR that is involved in the crosstalk, and 2) implication of this site(s) specific modification on EGFR downregulation and signaling.
