The Lurleen B. Wallace Radiation Therapy and Cancer Institute is located at 1824 6th Avenue South and is home to the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. A new $28.5 million, state-of-the-art radiation oncology facility is scheduled to be constructed beginning in early 2006 across from the new North Pavilion University Hospital.
