RADIOLOGY: PANCREAS: Case# 32779: PANCREATITIS. 35 year old male with history of alcohol dependence. 1. Acute pancreatitis without evidence of pancreatic necrosis or definable fluid collection. Surrounding inflammatory changes cause thickening of the sigmoid colon and a localized ileus in the small bowel. 2. Bilateral pleural effusions with adjacent atelectasis and/or infiltrate. 3. Mild amount of ascites.
