The IBS Graduate Program has been expanded to give students the very best multidisciplinary training within the emerging and exciting field of molecular medicine. The program is now Pathobiology and Molecular Medicine, a component of the Graduate Biomedical Sciences at UAB. is an innovative multidisciplinary graduate program which integrates the principles of biochemistry and molecular biology with those of physiology, pathophysiology and therapy and leads to a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences, Molecular and Cellular Pathology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, or Cellular and Molecular Physiology

All accepted students receive full fellowships and paid tuition!

 

More than 150 faculty members are affiliated with the IBS program, providing you with the opportunity to grow academically and professionally with a diverse network of faculty. A rigorous series of courses during the first year provides a solid theoretical foundation for the experimental laboratory work that follows.
