Dr. Rony Najjar

Director of the Division of Surgery

Dr. Rony Najjar assumed the permanent title as Director of the Division of Surgery in October of 2002. He has been and continues to be the director of Trauma Surgery at Huntsville Hospital. He has actively recruited community surgeons to join him in providing high quality surgical experiences for our residents and medical students. He is utilizing the diverse patient population available on the trauma service to expose our learners to the complex and critical problems confronted by physicians.  Dr. Najjar enjoys spending time with his family and performing lead guitar with Junctional Rhythm, a local band that includes three other Huntsville physicians.  Dr. Najjar is a member of the Army Reserve.
