The UAB Health Center Huntsville is the northern Alabama anchor of the "UAB Health System," and is the largest and only academic multi-specialty facility in this part of the state. Over 250 physicians from Huntsville and towns ranging from Red Bay to Centre serve as clinical faculty.

Residents receive instruction from full-time board-certified UAB faculty in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Surgery.
