PGY-3 Curriculum

The following one month rotations (except where specified) make up the PGY-3 12-month curriculum:

• Internal Medicine
• Family Practice Inpatient Service - 2 months
• Pediatrics
• Sports Medicine
• ENT/Radiology (2 weeks each)
• Practice Management/Derm (2 weeks each)
• Rural Medicine
• Geriatrics/Community Medicine (2 weeks each)
• Electives - 3 months
• Longitudinal Experiences
  • Family Medicine Continuity Clinic: 4 half-days per week
  • Nursing Home Visits: One half-day per month
  • Critical Care: Patients on ANY inpatient service who are admitted to a critical care unit are followed by the residents as longitudinal patients
