Coagulation Factor Inhibitor Assays
These assays are available from the UAB Coagulation Service to detect, identify, and monitor coagulation factor inhibitors associated with hemorrhage.

The Lupus anticoagulant profile is employed to detect the antiphospholipid syndrome, a thrombotic disorder. However, in instances where the symptoms are uncertain, the profile may be used to identify inhibitors associated with hemorrhage. Refer to Thrombophiliafor a more detailed explanation.
