| Description |
Congenital factor XI deficiency is present in 1:8 Ashkenazi Jews and is inherited as an autosomal dominant mutation. Factor XI deficiency is associated with mild to severe bleeding; however, bleeding severity is not proportional to factor XI activity level. |
