| Description |
Congenital factor X deficiency is rare and is inherited as one of several autosomal recessive mutations. Acquired factor X deficiency is caused by liver disease, amyloidosis, paraproteinemia, vitamin K deficiency or the use of Coumadin therapy. Factor X deficiency is associated with moderate to severe bleeding. |
