| Description |
Factor IX inhibitors are IgG alloantibodies specific for therapeutic factor IX. Factor IX inhibitors appear in 1 to 6% of severe hemophilia B patients. Inhibitors typically neutralize therapeutic factor IX concentrates making it necessary to provide patients with alternative therapy. |
