| Description |
Congenital factor V deficiency is rare and is inherited as an autosomal recessive mutation. Acquired factor V deficiency is seen in liver disease, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and due to acquired inhibitors. Factor V deficiency is associated with mild to moderate bleeding. |
